What to do In Case of a Mis-prescription?

What you should do if you become ill due to a wrong prescription:

  1. Immediately set aside the prescription materials which may consist of pills, bottles, tubes, instructions, containers, etc.

  2. Call the pharmacy you received the medication from and report the incident but do not give the medication back without consulting with us first.

  3. Do not let anyone take a recorded statement without first consulting with our firm.

  4. If you become ill, seek medical attention immediately. When seeking medical attention, bring the medication with you to show the doctor but do not let the doctor keep the medication.

  5. If contacted by an insurance representative, do not speak with them without consulting with us first. Under no circumstances should you permit them to record your conversation (they must obtain your permisson first before doing so). Be pleasant and take their name and telephone number and give this information to our office. Once you have informed an insurance company that you are represented by an attorney, they are not permitted to discuss the case with you.
